The workshop around the work
The work does not happen only in close-up. Tool racks, low stools, forms and a large silver vessel in progress make up the daily life of a workshop.
This wider view keeps each detail connected to the place where it is made.
Movement in the workshop
From sheet to surface
Each piece begins as a flat sheet of silver. A silversmith cuts and shapes it by hand, then raises the surface with a hammer — a technique that leaves the fine, uneven texture you can feel as well as see. Detail is added last, with hand engraving tools that cut each line individually.
